As Asia’s next wave of growth gathers pace, silica sand from Diatreme Resources’ emerging Cape Bedford Project in North Queensland will be used in all things glass, from advanced photovoltaic panels to millions of new windscreens. Elsewhere, the company is rapidly advancing its Cyclone Project in Western Australia amid constrained supply and rising demand for zircon.
With Diatreme ready for takeoff, Republic first repositioned the company with a major rebrand powered by the tagline “Australian Sands. Universal Demand”. We then developed an integrated investor and media relations campaign to make the most of Diatreme’s story and raise its trajectory.
The results have included a doubling of the company’s market capitalisation and heightened investor interest. This was evidenced by a successful capital raising undertaken in September 2018, with Republic helping Diatreme secure a number of new, professional and sophisticated investors as part of a $2 million placement.
With the funds targeted for the completion of Cyclone’s DFS and further drilling and permitting activities at Cape Bedford, Diatreme is set for another uplift as it achieves further new milestones. And Republic will be there with it every step of the way.
